Musical director: Ed Blunt

Ed works across many different musical genres as a pianist, arranger, orchestrator and musical director. An in-demand performer on the UK music scene, he has played at Wembley Arena, Ronnie Scotts, Hammersmith Apollo and the Barbican amongst others. Radio and TV work includes BBC Radio 3, BBC2, BBC London, as well as studio work for Universal and EMI. Ed enjoys working with choirs and directs his own contemporary ensemble, Camden Voices, as well as working with The Choir With No Name, a choir for people who have experienced homelessness; Lyric Young Voices; and the Guardian office choir. He performs with the London Vocal Project, one of the UK’s leading contemporary vocal ensembles, who enjoyed a recent tour to New York premiering a new work with jazz singer Jon Hendricks. Ed works as an in-house arranger for Music Sales publishers and orchestrates freelance for a variety of commercial projects.

Ed studied at the Guildhall School with distinguished musicians such as Malcolm Edmonstone (Strictly Come Dancing, Tony Bennett, John Dankworth) and privately in LA with Brent Fischer (Michael Jackson, Prince, Chaka Khan).
